About the Author

Fabian Ferguson, is an acclaimed self-published children’s book author, entrepreneur, and publisher. His company, F. Ferguson Books, is “devoted to uplifting Black authors and Black lead characters.”

His books include In the Mirror (2021), about children learning to appreciate the uniqueness of their own faces; Jackie Wins Them All (2020) about a gifted and competitive 6th grader; and Daddy’s Arms (2018), which Kirkus Reviews called, “A sweet, uplifting celebration of fatherhood and a child’s imagination.”

His titles have earned multiple awards and recognition, like the coveted Kirkus Star (2x) which is awarded to books of excellent merit. With his growing recognition, Fabian has been able to secure a global distribution contract, placing his titles in bookstores and libraries around the world.

Fabian is a first-generation Panamanian-American, born and raised in Brooklyn. Driven by his passion for creating stories for his son that he wished he had had as a child, he launched his own publishing company, F. Ferguson Books LLC, in 2018.
